Minimum Government and Maximum Governance motto of Government : Jai Ram Thakur

The State Government was working with the motto of Minimum Government and Maximum Governance so as to provide good governance and speedy redressal of public grievances. This was stated by Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur while presiding over the ‘Chief Minister Fellowship Programme-Himachal Pradesh’ here today.Chief Minister said that the focus of Government would be to simplify the various procedures and complexities so that the grievances of public could be redressed without any delay. He said that the ‘Jan Manch Programme’ launched by the State Government has proved a boon to the people of the State as most of their problems were redressed at their door steps.Jai Ram Thakur said that Chief Minister Dashboard was proving helpful for regular monitoring of works being undertaken by the State Government so that the benefits of these development projects reaches to the targeted groups. He said that efforts would be made to ensure the effective monitoring of various welfare schemes at Chief Minister’s office. He said that in the first phase focus would be laid on monitoring of flagship schemes started by the State Government.

Chief Minister said that various announcements made by him would also be monitored and Government was contemplating to launch Chief Minister’s Good Governance Associates Programme for monitoring various citizen centric services. He said that this would ensure effective and time bound completion of projects.  He said that under this programme service and scheme delivery, improving livelihood and fast tracking Chief Minister’s announcements would be ensured.Gaurav of Chief Minister’s Good Governance Associates  gave detailed presentation  on the occasion.Chief Secretary Vineet Chawdhry, Additional Chief Secretary-cum- Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Dr. Shrikant Baldi, Principal Secretary RD Dhiman, Principal Secretary Sanjay Gupta, Secretaries R.N. Batta, Akshay Sood, Additional Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Sanjay Kundu, Special Secretary to Chief Minister D.C. Rana and other senior officers were present on the occasion.
