Orphan Being Trained At Dashmesh Sports And Martial Arts Academy Becomes, Class Eighth Student Of Academy All Set To Bring Laurels In Football

Rohit, a student of class eighth of the Dashmesh Sports and Martial Arts Academy Sri Anandpur Sahib, is an example of grit determination piled against odd ends. An orphan, the 14 year old has come long distance from being found abandoned on Bathinda railway station to being selected in the under 14 state football team and getting admission at the academy here.Due to collective efforts of the district administration, Anant Anath Asharam Nathana (Bathinda) and Dashmesh Sports and Martial Arts Academy funded by state government, Rohit is now ready to touch the horizons. On 9th September 2013 Rohit was found abandoned at the Bathinda railway station from where he was sent to Anant Anath Ashram Nathana of district Bathinda, which is home to many children like him. The organizers of orphanage with help of district administration tried to find Rohit's whereabouts in various districts and states but all in vain. At the end it was decided to bring up Rohit at the Anant Ananth Ashram at Nathana itself.While at the Ashram Rohit became a keen football players along with his studies. While he was playing with football in the playground he was observed by a boy named Sunil from Nathana, who himself was a trainee at the Dashmesh Sports and Martial Arts Academy at Sri Anandpur Sahib. 

He got so impressed with Rohit's game that he convinced the organizers of the orphanage to take him for a trial test at the academy and the result was beyond expectations.The academy run by sports department of state government immediately came forward recognizing inbuilt capacity and skills of child required for the game of football and selected him. The child joined academy on May 5, 2018 after clearing trials and is being coached by Amarjeet Singh and Jaswinder Singh at the academy in under 14 category for football. Now he is taking training with 30 other under 14 football trainees along with 50 total football players. He is continuing his studies of 8th standard at Saraswati Model School, Sri Anandpur Sahib.Aharam Chairman Krishan Kumar Bansal told that the staff and the children of the Ashram are very excited with Rohit's selection and are hopeful that with their good upbringing other children may also excel in the fields of respective interests.Being an eligible child for valid adoption the district administration and DCPOare looking forward for a family who will adopt  such a brilliant child and give him love and affection that every child deserves.
