Police Successful In Making Cordial Relations Through Sanjh Kendras

In a bid to resolve the grievances of general public besides establishing a cordial relation, the Punjab Police has successfully implemented the project 'Sanjh' through the Sanjh Kendras in district Moga. 37,538 people had availed the services from 1 April 2018 to 31 July 2018.Disclosing this here today, the SSP Moga Gurpreet Singh Toor said that the Punjab police had established a successful relations with the general public under this project and had ensured to provide satisfactory services through District level Sanjh Kender at SSP office besides the Sub-Divisional level offices at Baghapurana, Nihal Singh Wala, Dharamkot and nearly one dozen Out-Reach centres at various police stations in the district.The SSP Gurpreet Singh Toor further said that these centres under the Punjab Service Act, 2011 were providing  services to general public in a time bound manner under one roof and single window system. He also informed that from April 1, 2018 to July  31, 2018  as many as 37,538  people had availed these services include registrations and stay permissions for foreign visitors, availing the copies of FIRs and DDRs, passport related verifications, character verifications, NoCs for vehicles and armed licenses etc. besides quarries and permissions related to various public activities in the district.  Toor categorically said that the district police was fully committed to serve the people and had adopted pro-people attitude to facilitate the masses. He also called upon the people to avail the maximum services through these computerised centres working in a transparent, fair and systematic manner. He further said that to avoid any untoward incident people must give detailed information to the police through these centres about the servants working in their houses.
