Altaf Bukhari, Member J&K Legislative Assembly from Amirakadal, called on Governor N.N. Vohra at the Raj Bhavan today.Sh. Bukhari welcomed Governor’s decision for conducting elections to Municipalities and Panchayats and informed him about several serious developmental issues relating to his Constituency which require high priority attention.Governor urged Sh. Bukhari to spread awareness about the importance of the forthcoming elections to Municipalities in September-October and to the phased polls for the Panchayats in October-December so that both these elections witness a high percentage turnout.
