Kuldeep Singh SSP SAS Nagar has been chosen for police medal for gallantry whereas RN Dhoke, ADGP, Security and Satinder Singh, SSP, Kapurthala has been selected for President's police medal for distinguished services on the occasion of 72nd Independence Day. Apart from this, 13 more police officers/officials would be awarded with police medal for meritorious services.Disclosing this here today a spokesperson of Punjab police said Sukhwant Singh Gill, AIG Personnel, Gurpreet Singh, Commandant, Commando Training Center Bahadurgarh, Patiala, Gurmej Singh Inspector, PSO to DGP Law and Order, Bhajan Singh Sub Inspector, Security Wing, Punjab, Manmohan Singh SI, PSO to DGP Punjab, Jugal Kishore and Chamba Lal, (both Sub Inspectors, Intelligence), Bithal Hari, SI, litigation branch CPO Punjab, Satnam Singh, SI, office ADGP Armed Battalions Jalandhar, Lakhwinder Singh, ASI, office DGP Law and Order, Rajni Devi, ASI, CID Unit SAS Nagar, Chanchal Singh, ASI, office Commandant Regional Training Centre PAP Jalandhar and Deep Kumar Head Constable, wireless station Naina Devi, Punjab would get police medal for meritorious services.Meanwhile Director General of Police, Punjab Suresh Arora has conveyed his best wishes and felicitations to all concerned police personnel. In his greeting message he said all awards are well merited for which recipients deserve felicitations.
