The Additional Deputy Commissioner Jasbir Singh today asked the agency entrusted with the job of the maintenance of public utility services in District Administrative Complex to ensure proper hygiene and sanitation in the complex.The Additional Deputy Commissioner who inspected the washrooms and other areas of the complex under ‘Tandarust Punjab Mission’ said that agency entrusted with the task of upkeep of these place should ensure its work meticulously so that people coming to the complex do not face any sort of problem. He said that the green area within the complex must be properly maintained and the washrooms and toilets must also be cleaned regularly. Mr. Jasbir Singh said that any sort of callousness in providing these services to the people was unwarranted and undesirable.The Additional Deputy Commissioner also warned the agency officials of stern action if the job entrusted to them was not done properly. He said that clean and hygienic environment was the basic need of the premises and no compromise would be made with it. Mr. Jasbir Singh also said that he would regularly monitor the cleanliness and hygiene in the complex.
