The Third 'Jan Manch' was organised successfully all over the State on Sunday. The Speaker, HP Vidhan Sabha and all the Cabinet Ministers presided  over the programme organised in various parts of the State. The people in large number participated in Jan Manch for redressal of their grievances and  other issues.Most of the cases received during these programmes were disposed off on the spot and rest have been sent to the concerned departments for speedy  redressal. Besides, Allopathic and Ayurvedic medical camps and blood donation camps were also organised in which a large number of people turned  out for check-up. Various types of certificates were issued besides registration of youth clubs and providing HP domicile certificate during this  programme.Speaker Dr. Rajiv Bindal while presiding over the Jan Manch function in Gram Panchayat Basantpur of Shimla district said that the main motive of Jan  Manch was to address the problems of people of remote areas in an effective manner at their door steps. He said today 185 cases were received for  this programme out of which 86 cases were settled on the spot and 99 more cases received today have been referred to the concerned departments  which would be settled in ten days.The Speaker directed the administrative officers to take effective steps for providing land to the landless persons at the earliest. He also directed the  SDM concerned to look into the complaints of the people of the area under NTPC personally and ensure justice to them.Irrigation and Public Health Minister Mahender Singh Thakur presided over the programme held at Bhangani Panchayat of Paonta Sahib Assembly  segment in Sirmaur district. As many as 1543 cases were received during the programme and out of these 1106 cases were received online including  960 different demands and 146 personal demands. The Minister directed to settle the remaining cases with in a time period of fifteen days.

He said that 50 hand pumps would be installed in Paonta Assembly constituency. He announced to provide Rs. 30 lakh for improvement of Maanpur  Devra drinking water scheme besides Rs. 10 lakh for another water supply scheme of this Panchayat.In Chamba district, Jan Manch was organised at Chhatrari in Bharmaur assembly constituency which was presided over by Food, Civil Supplies and  Consumer Affairs Minister Kishan Kapoor. As many as 219 demands were presented on this occasion out of which 177 were redressed on the spot.The Minister distributed 100 LPG connections Himachal Grahini Yojana to the beneficiaries. He said that religious toursim would be developed at  Chhatrari under "Nai Rahein Nai Manzilein Yojana" which would also provide ample employment and self employment opportunities to the youth of the  area. The information about various welfare schemes of the state government was also given by various departments on this occasion.Education Minister Suresh Bhardwaj presided over Jan Manch at Hatwar in Ghumarwin constituency of Bilaspur district. Speaking on the occasion, he  said that people had to travel up to the district headquarters for their various works but the Jan Manch was providing them facility to redress their  grievances and get their work done near to their homes. This programme has especially benefited the people in making their important certificates and  completing their revenue related works at one place.He said the government was ensuring that all the grievances and complaints raised during the Jan Manch were redressed within two weeks and this  has come up a big respite to the people. During the programme 227 cases were received, medical check up facility was given to 526 person and  various type of certificates were issued to 80 person.

 The Jan Manch in Hamirpur district was organised at Bhareri in Bhoranj development block which was presided over by MPP and Power Minister Anil  Sharma. As many as 108 applications were received from 11 Panchayats of the Bhoranj and Bamsan areas out of which 15 were redressed on the  spot. The Minister distributed cheques under Beti Hai Anmol Yojana and FDs under Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao campaign.Anil Sharma said the Jan Manch was proving to be a boon especially to the people of the remote and far flung areas as they were getting revenue and  other works done at their door steps. Moreover, they were also being provided facility for free medical check-ups and making various certificates.In Kullu district, Jan Manch was organised at village Manglore of Banjar Assembly constituency of Kullu district which was presided over by Urban  Development Minister Sarveen Chaudhary. She directed the I&PH department to complete the work on Kotla-Gopalpur drinking water scheme at the  earliest. The LPG connections were distributed to 119 women of the area and fixed deposit documents amounting to Rs. 10,000 each were given to 24  girls.  As many as 102 cases were received today out of which 65 were redressed on the spot and remaining have been sent to early redressal to the  concerned departments.Agriculture Minister Dr. Ram Lal Markanda presided over the function at Gurukotha in Gram Panchayat Kothi of Balh Assembly constituency in Mandi  district. It was for the first time that Self Help Groups exhibited their products in stalls during the Jan Manch. The verification of life certificates of the  pensioners was also done through biometric machines on this occasion.The Minister had lunch with the people present on the occasion which was  served on pattals (leaf plates) manufactured by the SHGs.

As many as 269 cases were received today in the district and most of them were redressed on the spot. Besides, 280 cases were received pre Jan  Manch out of which 253 have been settled.Health Minister Vipin Singh Parmar while presiding over the function in Gram Panchayat Chandi in Solan district directed the Public Works department  for proper renovation and maintenance of roads in Doon constituency and also directed the State Electricity Board Limited to improve the low voltage  problem of Pattanali panchayat with in fifteen days.As many as 85 complaints and 402 demands were presented during the Jan Manch in Solan district.  A health camp was also organised on the  occasion in which free medical examination facility was provided to 454 persons alon-with provision of ultra sound and x-ray machines. The Animal  Husbandry department also organised a free camp in which 217 farmers were registered. Besides, 143 person were registered for making Aadhar  Cards and various other certificates were also issued to the beneficiaries.In Una district, the Jan Manch was organised in Bhadrakali Panchayat of Gagret constituency which was presided over by Industries Minister Birkam  Singh Thakur. As many as 137 cases were received before the function and 241 on the spot. Out of these, 100 were settled on the spot and rests  have been referred to the departments concerned.Under Griahani Suvidha Yojana, free LPG connections were distributed to 100 beneficiaries on this occasion by the Minister. 

He also honoured  mothers of six girl child on this occasion who were born in the month of July, 2018.The Jan Manch programme was organised at Tiyara in Kangra district which was presided over by Forest Minister Govind Singh Thakur. During the  programme, 269 cases were received today while 96 cases were received earlier. The 62 cases have been settled and the Minister directed to  redress rest cases within a period of ten days.LPG connections were distributed to 12 beneficiaries and rupees four lakh each were given by the  administration to the family members of two persons who died in road accidents. Medical health checkup and blood donation camps were also  organised on the occasion.Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Dr. Rajiv Saizal presided over the function organised at Kaza in Lahaul-Spiti district where 412 cases were  received from various Panchayats of Spiti Division and 403 settled on the spot. Speaking on the occasion, he said that state government was  according top priority for development of the tribal areas and welfare of its people. He said the government has decided to give one lakh LPG  connections to one lakh women of the state free of cost living under BPL.Deputy Speaker Hans Raj presided over Jan Manch at Bhawanagar in Kinnaur district in which people form ten Gram Panchayats of Nichar sub- division participated. Various certificates were issued on the spot by various departments on this occasion and the Food and Civil Supplies department  distributed ten LPG connections free of cost to the beneficiaries. The Health department organised a camp to examine patients and distribute  medicines free of cost.
