Appeals Pawan Kumar Bansal To Act Swiftly To Fulfill His Commitment

Sohan Singh Thandal, Chief Parliamentary Secretary appealed Mr Pawan Kumar Bansal to proceed further fulfilling his commitment to establish Rail Factory in Punjab. He said the requisite land for the factory is available in district Hoshiarpur. Mr Thandal also urged the Congress Member Parliament from Punjab to bring this matter into the notice of the Centre Government and facilitate for the establishment of Rail Factory in Punjab.In response to Mr Pawan Kumar Bansal’s recent statement in the media that “if the Punjab Government provides requisite land  Rail Component manufacturing Factory could be established in Punjab”, Mr Thandal said that the land is available in village Jejo, Block Mahilpur, district Hosiarpur. He appealed Rail Minister to act swiftly for the establishment of Rail Factory in Punjab. Mr Thandal also urged the Member Parliament belonging to congress party Mr.Ravneet Bittu, MP from sri Anandpur Sahib, Mrs Satosh Choudary, MP from Hoshirpur and Avinash Rai Khanna to play proactive role in this matter by bringing the matter in the notice of centre government.Mr. Thandal said that this the land in Jejo village in not fit for the agricultural so this land could be acquired for the Rail Factory. He said that the Rail Factory would generate much needed employment to the locals. He said a railway track already existed from Nawan shahr to Jejo (Harjiana) and the land adjoining this railway track could be acquired for Rail Factory. Mr. Thandal said that it is his personal views that Farmers could easily give their land for the Factory as it is not cultivable.
