Le putt bittu, meri vote vi teri, aashirwad vi tere naal… (My son Bittu, my vote is yours so my blessings are), elderly persons of Norty constituency have been blessing congress candidate Ravneet Singh Bittu in such a way. Mr. Bittu has been getting support from persons of every age group.Mr. Bittu got strength when SAD Sarpanch of Village Jhameri Gurvinder Singh has joined Congress with hundreds of his supporters. Mr. Bittu has welcomed Gurvinder Singh and others in the presence of other senior leaders of the party.Mr. Bittu said before initiating good work one should take blessings of elders and he has been taking blessings from elderly persons for the development of Ludhiana. He said first step of development is to provide basic facilities to the people. He said, even today many of people have been deprived of basic facilities. The SAD-BJP alliance has built castles in the air in past seven years. No development works have been restricted to laying inagurating stones only. He said only congress can bring overall development.

Mr Bittu said Union Minister for state, Union Minister of broadcasting and informationManish Tewari has brought City Bus service, Passport service centre in Ludhiana. Mr.Tewari has also exempted hosiery industry from central excise. He has brought 108 Ambulance Service in Ludhiana. He has also brought fund from centre for cleanliness of Buddha Nullah, made roads in villages under Prime Minister gram Sarak Yojna and brought Ludhiana-Delhi Shatabadi project. He would continue his projects. He will work for pollution free Ludhiana and will bring PGIMER hospital to Ludhiana. He would also bring the industry back to ludhiana that was moved away due to adverse policies of SAD-BJP alliance. He would also work to provide water and roads to the people.

Mr. Bittu onslaught SAD-BJP alliance said during parliamentary elections the SAD-BJP alliance had made promises to increase Shagun Scheme up to Rs. 31,000, but in present the people are not getting benefit of Shagun Scheme.He said, in the reign of SAD-BJP alliance only sand mafia, drug peddling, land mafia, liquor mafia, transport mafia and cable mafia have developed and Badal family has been getting richer day by day.

Bittu also addressed meetings held under the leadership of district congress president Pawan Dewan at Sabji Mandi and Atam Nagar of ward number 66, Jagdish Nagar of ward number 61 and labor colony of ward number 60. The locals have assured that they would make Mr. Bittu winner with a huge margin.
