Mohali boy wins overall Mr Pinjore Body building championship

Harvinder Singh Honey, 24 years old got another feather in his cap as he won Mr Pinjore and Mr Pinjore classic body building championship held at Pinjore. Honey was good in studies and he did Btech in Electronics and Communications but body building was his passion. Honey told that he started body building four years ago against the wish of his family but when he won Mr Bhatinda title, his father encouraged him. After winning Mr Bhathinda title, Honey did not look back and he picked up speed in the arena of body building. He started his training under professional body builder Ramakant Sharma. Honey has won gold and silver medal in Mr India body building championship. He has won more than 15 district level championships in different states. 

"It was not an easy job because a good body comes out with a lot of practice and a combination of diet. I pump my muscles four hours in gym regularly." said Honey. When it comes to diet, he revealed, "For building good muscles, I take 50 eggs, one and a half kilograms of chicken along with protein shakes." When asked him why he took bodybuilding body building as career, Honey told that he was always inspired by his father Surjit Singh who was a power lifter. But the dream came true when he met his coach Ramakant Sharma in Mohali.  Honey do not bother about his career in engineering but he adopted body building and giving coaching in Club Plus gym at sector 34. Honey's dream is to win Mr World Championship and he is practicing hard to achieve his goal. But he has regrets with government as there is no support from government.
