Tree plantation drive held at Akhnoor

As part of Van Mahotsava celebration, Social Forestry Division, Jammu today organized a plantation drive here at Chinote falling in Social Forestry Range, Akhnoor.Regional Director, Social Forestry Department, Jammu P.K. Ragav, was the Chief Guest at the event. A large number of locals including youth and children participated in the drive by planting saplings provided by the organizers.Earlier, the chief guest launched the drive by planting saplings of different species of trees.The officers of the Department also planted the saplings.
