Punjab Brahman Sabha calls on Speaker Rana KP Singh

A delegation of 'Punjab Brahman Sabha' led by the president Advocate Shekhar Shukla today called on Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker Rana KP Singh here.The delegation demanded that Bhagwan Parshuram Jayanti should be declared as a gazetted holiday, which is currently under  the restricted holidays list.The Speaker said that he will talk to the Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh regarding the demand and also impressed upon the Govt to solve the other issues, which were raised during today's meeting. Punjab Brahman Sabha also felicitated the Speaker. District presidents and office-bearers of the Sabha were also present on the occasion.
