Vehicle returning from marriage party plunges into gorge, two killed

Two persons were killed and another was injured after a vehicle returning from marriage function met with an accident at Dana area of Mandi in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.Reports reaching GNS said that the vehicle (Tata sumo-JK11-3933) skidded off the road and rolled down into 300 ft gorge near Dana village of Mandi.In the mishap, two persons died on the spot while as another suffered injuries and was evacuated to a nearby hospital where from he was referred to district hospital Poonch for advanced treatment.The deceased were identified as  Mukhtar Ahmad, 23, son of Mohd Ayoub of Seri Khawaja and Mohd Reyaz, 24, son of Ghulam Mohd of Dana Loran. The injured was identified as Nazakat Hussain son of Mohd Hussain of Loran.The mishap occurred when they were returning from a marriage function at Loran.Station House Officer, (SHO) Loran Shakeel Ahmad also confirmed the mishap and said that a case under relevant sections of law has been registered in this regard.
