CGC Jhanjeri provided Exceptional information about First Aid

Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Jhanjeri  organized  first aid training camp , which was conducted by Indian Red Cross Society   . In this camp all the volunteers from the National Service Scheme (NSS), National Cadet Corps and a large number of other staff & students participated. Sukhwant Singh, District Training Officer, Mohali  and  Mohan Sigh, Ex-SI were the chief trainers.First Aid & Home Nursing Training Camp  the first help in the Fainting, nose bleeding, fracture in leg or hand, Epileptic attack, Dog bite, Bee string, Snake bite, Dislocation, How to make a stretcher, How to carry an injured person, How to tie a bandage and how to make a gauze. Students were also taught first aid at the moment of sudden accident or injury, which is usually performed by non-expert, but trained person, can manage better injured or sick person until definitive medical treatment can be accessed.At this moment   Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, President CGC  said that nevertheless in India first aid is not part of curriculum but in foreign countries there are certain course related to it but now imparting knowledge about first aid has become trend in India too which might save several lives.He further motivated students to give this information of first aid to others also as this information can be helpful to any one at the time of unforeseen tragedy. The Students  also pledged to serve for humanity.
