Dogra reviews progress under Gram Swaraj Abhiyan in Baramulla

Deputy Secretary Department of Financial Services Government of India Ashok Kumar Dogra, who is also the Nodal officer of Extended Gram Swaraj Abhiyan (EGSA) for Baramulla today chaired a meeting of officers here at Dak Bungalow Baramulla to review the progress of implementation of various schemes and flagship programmes in key sectors that comes under the purview of Gram Swaraj Abhiyan in centrally sponsored "aspirational Districts programme". Meeting was attended by District Developmental Commissioner Baramulla Dr Nasir Ahmad Naqash, President Jammu and Kashmir Bank RakeshGandotra ADC Baramulla Farooq Ahmad Baba, Director Planning A G Malik, SEs and EXNs of different line departments, CMO, CEO and various others.On the occasion, the DDC Baramulla briefed the Deputy Secretary about the status of implementation of various schemes and projects. He presented a detailed account of achievements under Inderdhanush immunization programme and said that out of the set target of 96082 children under 2 years of age, 95391 children were immunized while the remaining shall be covered upto July 2018. He also informed that the target was achieved among 279 identified villages and asserted that the whole district shall be covered under the mission by September 2018.A K Dogra took a thorough review of the implementation of all components under the Abhiyan wherein he stressed upon the concerned to ramp up the pace of work so that the target is achieved in the time frame. He exhorted upon the officers to deploy additional men and machinery in expediting the pace of work besides assuring every possible support in ensuring progress and prosperity of district Baramulla.Dogra called for effective coordination between various agencies so that qualitative services are delivered for the overall welfare of the people. He also sought suggestions and feedbacks from officers for the overall effective implementation of various programmes and schemes in the developmental field.
