ADC reviews arrangements for annual Yatras in Bhaderwah

The sub-district administration, Bhaderwah today reviewed the arrangements for the smooth conduct of various upcoming yatras including Annual Holy Kailash Yatra, Machail Yatra, Mani Mahesh Yatra, Shri Krishan Janam Ashtami in Bhaderwah.The arrangements were discussed in the meeting of officers chaired by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Doda holding additional charge of Bhaderwah, here.ASP Bhaderwah Rajinder Singh, CEO BDA Rajinder Prasad Khajuria, Tehsildar Bhaderwah Masood Ahmed, BMO Yudhvir Kotwal, SDPO Tousif Ahmed, DFO, Deputy SP Traffic, CDPO besides other Tehsil Officers,  representatives of Sanathan Dharam Sabha Bhaderwah, Kailesh Sewa Sangh, besides other senior officers were present at the meeting.President Sanathan Dharam Sabha, Bhaderwah informed the meeting about the dates and schedules of various forthcoming yatras and sought same level of cooperation as extended by the tehsil administration every year.He informed that the Chandi Mata Yatra shall be held on July 17 and 18, 2018. The Machail Yatra will start from Chinote on August 18; the 1st Mani Mehesh Yatra will commence from August 20 and will conclude on September 3, 2018 while as 2nd Mani Mahesh Yatra shall commence on September 3, 2018and would be concluded on September 17, 2018, he added.

He further informed that Shri Krishan Janam Ashtimi would be celebrated on September 3, 2018 and Shri Kailash Yatra would continue fromSeptember 6 and to September 8, 2018.The Sanathan Dharam Sabha called upon the administration to make foolproof security arrangements for the pilgrims and ensure maintenance of roads, availability of drinking water, presence of medical staff along the route of Yatra and other arrangements for yatras.Responding to the issues raised by the Sabha, the ADC issued directions to the concerned with respect to different yatras which are going to be held at different dates and venues.He stressed on making drinking water available along the route of yatras by the department of PHE and directed the department of R&B to clear roads for smooth plying of vehicles en-route.To ensure the safety of pilgrims, the ASP Bhaderwah was asked to deploy sufficient number of police personnel along all the Yatra routes.The BMO was asked to deploy staff at various yatra venues and make ambulances available along the route of the yatras. The tehsil administrations assured full cooperation to Sanathan Dharam Sabha for the successful conduct of all the yatras.
