Single Window Committee At District Level To Redress Grievances Of Industrialists

“The ‘Business First Portal’ commenced by the Punjab Government would prove to be extremely beneficial for the entrepreneurs and the process to redress the grievances/problems of the entrepreneurs received through this portal would be speeded up.”Disclosing this, the Industries and Commerce Minister, Punjab, Mr. Sunder Sham Arora said that the Punjab Government is committed to establish the new industries for which the creation of congenial atmosphere is the prime necessity. He further elaborated that a single window committee at the District Level headed by the Deputy Commissioner is active to resolve just grievances/problems of the industrialists. He also divulged that the committees have been authorised to grant all sanctions to the companies investing capital upto Rs. 10 crore.Mr. Arora further said that the portal would carry the complete information about the capital investment by the industrialists and the concerned unit would be provided with every kind of assistance till the industry gets established.The required clearances from the various departments needed by the industrial concerns would be available in online mode plus available financial profits/concessions under the Industrial & Business policy 2017 would also be provided online. He also added that the regulatory sanctions and financial profits/concessions to the companies making an investment of less than Rs. 10 crore would also be provided through this portal by the District Level Committee under the Deputy Commissioner.Exhorting all the industrialists to derive full benefit from the above mentioned portal, the minister said that the industrialists must bring their issues/grievances to the notice of the district level single window committee so as to resolve them on priority.
