Div Com directs DCs to prioritize touring, inspection of offices

Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Baseer Ahmad Khan, Friday directed all Deputy Commissioners to prioritize touring, inspection of offices and public meetings at various levels to galvanize and bring greater efficacy in the working of the administration.The DCs were asked to furnish details of tour notes of their activities on weekly basis, indicating the areas covered, offices inspected, public meetings held among other activities. Details of concerns and issues raised by the public during interactions have also been asked to be forwarded to the Div Com Office for their resolution.The DCs have been asked to ensure strict compliance with the instructions. It was said that the non-compliance would be construed as a dereliction of official orders and proceeded against accordingly. It was said the evaluation of each officer would be done taking into account the implementation of these instructions.
