Narendra Modi’s wave is sweeping over India: B C Khanduri

With only two days to go before the Lok Sabha elections in Chandigarh, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is putting in the best to ensure victory of party’s MP candidate, Kirron Kher. There are around 85,000 electorates from the hilly state, Uttarakhand who are living in the city and to confirm their support a public meeting was held in sector 46 today.The former chief minister, Uttarakhand, B C Khanduri along with the BJP’s State President, Sanjay Tandon reached here to   address the this public meeting. The event which was organized by the Convener, Uttarakhand cell, B S Bisht registered the large participation of inhabitants of the hilly state. On this occasion the former MP, Satya Pal Jain, Senior Deputy Mayor, Heera Negi, Mandal President, Pradeep Bansal were also present.Addressing the gathering, B C Khanduri said, “The BJP’s prime ministerial candidate, Narendra Modi’s wave is sweeping over the country. After a very long time in the political history, such an environment has been created when people of the nation have already decided that Modi will be the next PM of India. It clearly shows that the people are suffering from the scam ridden UPA government’s wrong policies. Our state Uttarakhand grappled with one of the worst natural disasters last year and the Congress government has failed to heal the wounds of the affected people. The state which had flourished during the BJP’s rule has been neglected by the Congress”.

He appealed to the people to vote for the party’s MP candidate Kirron Kher who is a daughter of an army man. In his local dialect he said that ‘Matdaan aur Kanyadaan ek hi baat hai’. Sharing the detail of poll campaigns, Sanjay Tandon informed, “The party cadre is working overtime to reach to every section of the society. I am meeting people in all the areas, holding public meetings to listen to problems faced by people. I am personally holding daily meetings with a cross section of constituents. We are leaving no stone unturned to ensure Kirron Kher’s victory from Chandigarh Parliamentary seat”.The MP candidate also joined to address the public meeting and she received a warm welcome by the gathering that raised slogans in her support. She highlighted the vision of the party and said that the party will ensure development of every section of the society. “I request to all of you to come out of your homes to vote on April 10 to bring change in the city”, Kirron added.       At this event, a survivor, Mahant Chetan Giri of the natural calamity in Uttarakhand reached at the venue, to especially thank Sanjay Tandon. “I was stuck in the temple of Kedarnath and I called up one of my follower who was a BJP’s activist. He got in touch with Sanjay Tandon and with his special efforts, I was rescued by a helicopter”, Chetan Giri said.
