RS.37 crore for SC sub- Plan : DC

Deputy commissioner Kangra Sh. C.Palrasu  has asked  Officers to achieve targets fixed for the district under scheduled caste sub-plan before 10th, march 2013 positively. Palrasu was reviewing the progress under scheduled caste sub-plan here today. He disclosed that a sum of rupees 36.70 crores were being spent under the sub-plan in the district and Rs. 18.50 crores have been spent up to December, 2012 and achieved 58 percent target.He said that under 20 points programme,9601 BPL families were benefited against the target of 12114 up to december, 2012.He asked the officers to speed up the development works and maintain the qualities of works so that maximum BPL families could be avail the benefits under the schemes, he added.Deputy Commissioner directed to the concerned officers to prepare work plan for next financial year and priority to be given to local demands, so that matter could be sent for government well in time for funds, he added.
