BOD Meeting of HIMUDA held

The 45th meeting of the Board of Directors of HIMUDA was held here today. Smt. Sarveen Chaudhary, Urban Development, Housing & TCP Minister-cum-Chairperson, HIMUDA presided over the meeting.Sarveen Chaudhary urged the officers to work with zeal and dedication and speed up the pace of ongoing projects so that fast results could be witnessed on ground and people of the state could be provided better facilities.The Board approved the construction of 16 Cat-II Houses in Housing Colony Una, Phase-IV, Distt. Una and Development of Commercial Plots i.e. Construction of Roads, External Water Supply & Sewerage etc.  in Integrated Residential Township at Mandhala, Phase-II, Baddi, Distt. Solan.The Board approved to adopt the instructions of the Government with regard to e-tendering of execution of work’s contracts and now all works valuing Rs.5.00 Lac & above will be awarded by e-tendering.

The Board approved to go ahead with Singapore Cooperation Enterprise to develop Mountain Town near Shimla Air Port and to finalize and execute the implementation of the agreement with Singapore Government.The Board approved to move forward to purchase land at Mohal Merherda, Tehsil Gopipur, Distt. Kangra measuring 5-40-81 Hectare for developing a Housing Colony in near future.The Board approved to develop Housing Project over land measuring Approximately 43 bighas 8 biswas at Mauja Nahaun, Tehsil Kasauli, Distt.In addition to above, the Board also approved to recover the amount for land compensation which is awarded by the Hon’ble High Court of H.P. from the allottees of Housing Colony Una.Sh. Prabodh Saxena, Principal  Secretary Housing & TCP, Sh. H.R. Chauhan, Special Secretary Finance,  Madan Kumar Minhas, Superintending Engineer M&P , H.P. P.W.D ,   Virender Thakur, Executive Engineer  I&PH and Umesh Kumar Sharma, C.E.O.-cum-Secretary, HIMUDA also attended the meeting.
