Ravneet Singh Bittu files nomination

Congress Candidate from Ludhiana constituency and Member of Parliament Mr. Ravneet Singh Bittuon Monday filed his nomination with the district election officer.Mr. Ravneet Singh Bittu along with hundreds of party workers and leaders reached at Hotel Park Plaza, Bhai Bala Chowk. From the Hotel Mr. Bittu along with party leaders and workers walked to Mini secretariat.His wife Anupam, Son Simran, Mother Jasbir Kaur along with Tej Parkash Singh, Gurkeerat Singh Kotli, Gurpreet Singh, Honey, Apandeep, Mankeerat and Juggi Brar accompanied him.Before filing the nomination Mr. Bittu went to Gurudwara Shri Dukh Niwaran Sahib, Shri Durga Mata Mandir and Shri Neelkanth Mandir Pakhowal road and paid his obeisance.

Addressing the workers Mr. Bittu said the development is possible only when the action would be taken instead of making tall claims. The congress has worked for overall development. He further added that his priority is to establish PGIMER in Ludhiana and to provide basic facilities to people of the city. Development of industry, international airport and clean environment are also in his list of priorities.Mr. Bittu said that he wishes to fulfill the dreams of his grandfather late Beant Singh and other martyrs.Mr. Bittu further added that it is his duty to protect congress workers from atrocities of SAD-BJP. He also added that member Parliament and Union Minister of State, Minister of information and broadcasting Mr. Manish Tewari has brought many projects including city bus service and Passport centre to the city. He would carry forward the development works initiated by Mr. Tewari for overall development of Ludhiana.Mr. Bittu said that the people have been annoyed from the drug-peddling especially in the rural areas. The ministers of SAD-BJP have been involved in drug peddling and ruining the lives of youth. He urged the people to stand strong against the malpractices of ASD-BJP leaders.
