The gathering at Bharatiya Janata party’s MP candidate, Kirron Kher’s public rallies was the highest than any rally by other candidates for Chandigarh Lok Sabha seat.Kirron had to face a lot of difficulties in reaching to the stage because of the crowd of the supporters. The main reasons for the spectacular show put up by the BJP on Sunday was Bollywood superstar Anil Kapoor and Anupam Kher. Besides, the BJP’s State President, Sanjay Tandon and former union minister, Harmohan Dhawan along with the party cadre added to the momentum.The poll-campaign began from carrying out a massive road show in sector 47 and 48. The slogans were raised in the support Kirron, Narendra Modi and BJP. After this Kirron Kher along with Sanjay Tandon reached in sector 34 to address a public rally. The duo highlighted the BJP’s strengths and shared the party’s vision for Chandigarh. Later on, they reached at Harmohan Dhawan’s residence to address the supporters of Muslim Community. The event was organized by the Minority Morcha, President, Mohammed Khurshid.          

Salim Mohammad Khan, who rejoined the BJP at this event today, said that Congress had always pided Muslims and never encouraged them to progress. “Now we are with the BJP because of its clear policies for the development of every section of the society. I appeal to all of you to support Kirron Kher and Modi”, Khan added.Anil Kapoor too reached at the venue and Kirron Kher thanked him for his presence. She assured the Muslim community that BJP was focused on bringing development and would not ignore their rights.While addressing the gathering, Anil Kapoor said, “Kirron Kher is a very good person and she has all the qualities of a good leader who can bring change. If you believe my words then you should vote for BJP”. After addressing the Muslim Community, Kirron Kher reached at Colony No 4 to address a public rally. Then she reached at the Grain Market, sector 26 where she was joined by Anil Kapoor and Sanjay Tandon. The trio was welcomed by the huge crowd. Anil Kapoor danced to the stage and started his speech in his signature style ‘Jhakaas’.

Referring to his film Nayak, “I played a commoner who becomes the chief minister for a day and ensures the good governance for the welfare of people. Likewise, Kirron Kher will be an exemplary MP. Just go ahead and vote for her on April 10 without any doubt”.Afterwards, Kirron along with Anupam, Anil and Tandon reached at BJP’s office in sector 37 to address a press conference. Anil had especially come from Dubai to Chandigarh to support Kirron Kher. Then the MP contender reached at sector 48 and moved towards sector 18 where she addressed a public meeting at a park near the residence of Sanjay Tandon. Supporting Kirron Kher, the State President, Sanjay Tandon said, “Looking at the extensive efforts being put up by the party cadre in reaching out to people, Kirron Kher’s victory from Chandigarh seat is guaranteed”.Later on, she reached at sector 8 at the residence of a local businessman, Madan Gulati. Kirron who was accompanied by Sanjay Tandon and Harmohan Dhawan assured the business community that their problems will be resolved.Afterwards, they reached at sector 24, 22, Maloya, Daddumajra Colony, Sector 38 west to address the massive public rallies. She concluded her campaign by participating in a religious Jagran held at Manimajra.
