Rs 15 lac sanctioned for making Laprascopic lab functional

Member Legislative Assembly, Kulgam Mohammad Yousuf Tarigami today chaired the meeting of Rogi Kalyan Samiti (RKS) of District Hospital Kulgam at mini secretariat here today.Tarigami, who is Chairman of RKS, had a detailed deliberation on various issues regarding the functioning of the institution besides discussing innovative measures to further augment the services being extended to the patients in the institution.The meeting was attended by Committee members, CMO, CPO, Medical Superintendent District Hospital Kulgam, BMO, DPM and other health officials.During the meeting, MLA asked the hospital administration to ensure availability of medicines and proper Medicare to the patients. The MLA urged the DDC to send a proposal for establishing a dialysis centre under Prime Minister's Program at D H Kulgam for which space has been already identified. On the occasion the MLA sanctioned 15 lac rupees for making Laprascopic lab functional at DH.During the meeting committee also agreed to install a thyroid Analyser in District hospital.Other issues like power and water supply, cleanliness, drainage and sanitation etc in the institution were also discussed in details.
