Regional Dir reviews progress of DILRMP in Rajouri

A meeting of revenue officers and representatives of M/S RAMTech Company was held under the chairmanship of Regional Director Survey and Land Records Pir Panchal Region Shoket Hussain Kazmi to review the progress of Digital India Land Record Modernization Programme (DILRMP) in this border district.The meeting was attended by ACR   Abdul Qayoom Mir, Tehsildar   Mehmood Riaz Khan, Khatib Hussain, Naib-Tehsildar Chingus; Wajahat Hussain, Naib-Tehsildar Rajouri and Rajesh from RAMTech Company.At the outset, Tehsildar Rajouri gave a brief account of the progress made in respect of implementation DILRMP in District Rajouri. He informed that 501231 Textual Documents pertaining to 304 villages of District Rajouri have been scanned so far. Out of 205142 documents made available by the Service Provider Company, quality checking of 144584 documents has so far been done by the department. All scanable 1689 Musavis (Village Maps) of the district available at Main Record Room Rajouri have been scanned and quality checking of the printed copies is in progress. He further informed that the progress of the project has suffered a lot due to Pen Down strike of the Patwaris and requested for making substitute arrangements.Representative of M/S RAMTech Company put forth some problems regarding issuance/page marking of documents for scanning purpose. Instructions were issued to Tehsildar Rajouri for looking into matter and for making necessary arrangements.Assistant Commissioner Revenue Rajouri assured in the meeting that substitute arrangement for quality checking of Textual Revenue Documents/Musavi will be made within one or two days.Regional Director stressed upon the revenue officers to work with more zeal and dedication for the smooth implementation of the project (DILRMP). He louded the efforts made by Deputy Commissioner Rajouri for closely monitoring the implementation of the Programme and also thanked him for his full support and guidance.
