The Bharatiya Janata Party’s State President, Sanjay Tandon reached at the doorsteps of electorates seeking support for the party’s MP candidate for Chandigarh Parliamentary seat, Kirron Kher. Carrying out a ‘Padyatra’ in ‘Sadar Bazaar’ of sector-19, Sanjay Tandon went shop-to-shop and appealed to the people for supporting the BJP. This event was arranged by the convener, business cell, Vinod Aggarwal.While connecting with the shopkeepers, Sanjay Tandon said, “During the regime of the Congress party, the common man suffered from problems like price rise, economic crisis, corruption, scams, and insecurity at the borders in India. The nation is looking for an alternative so that development could take place at on all fronts. The BJP’s prime ministerial candidate, Narendra Modi is the flavour of the political season. While casting your vote for the MP candidate here, you should also think about which party has the best prospects to form the government at the centre. Having the MP from the same party ensures that issues related to the city get maximum attention”.Talking about the response of the people, Vinod Aggarwal said that people have confirmed their support to Kirron Kher and they want to see Modi as Prime Minister of India.
