DDC Shopian reviews developmental progress under health, education sectors

District Development Commissioner Shopian, Gazanfar Ali, Friday chaired a meeting to review the progress of developmental works and implementation of welfare schemes under health and education sectors in the district.Status of NTPHCs at Wachi, Mashwara, Trenz, Ramnagri, Tukroo, Alamganj, Losedenow, Wathoo and T-Wangam in the district, walling around District Hospital Shopian and construction of E-class rooms in the district were discussed during the meeting.The DDC instructed the officers to accelerate the developmental tempo and ensure all ongoing developmental projects are completed within their stipulated timeframes.He also directed for taking effective steps to implement welfare programmes in mission mode for optimum results on the ground. He instructed for submitting physical and financial progress of ongoing development works on a monthly basis in order to avoid inordinate delays in their completion.Additional Deputy Commissioner, Chief Planning Officer, Chief Medical Officer, Chief Education Officer, Dy. General Managers JKHB and JKPHC, Medical Superintendent District Hospital among other concerned officers were present in the meeting.
