SSWC&MA approves 19 proposals

Second meeting of the State Single Window Clearance and Monitoring Authority (SSWC&MA) was held here today under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister Shri Jai Ram Thakur.The Authority approved 19 proposals for setting up new industrial units and for expansion of existing units involving a total proposed investment of approximately Rs. 588. 58 crore with an employment potential of about 1530 persons which shows that the State continues to attract investment despite overall slowdown in the economy.New proposals approved by the Authority include proposal of M/s BS Paras Spices Cold Chain Pvt. Ltd., Shyampura, Una for manufacturing of Juices, M/s UR Sinter Private Limited Unit-II, Gagret, Una for manufacturing of Manganese casting, M/s Shantnu Investments India Limited, Kumarsain, Shimla for CA Store and manufacturing of Apples Concentrate, M/s Maa Bhanbhori Steel and Alloys, Nahan, Sirmaur for manufacturing of SS Ingot, M/s HSD Flour Mills, Amb, Una for manufacturing of Maida, Atta, Suzi etc. M/s Manimahesh Enterprises, Tehsil Balh, District Mandi for manufacturing of Ceder Oil, Essential Oils etc., M/s R R Biotec India Private Limited, Nahan, Sirmaur for manufacturing of liquid injectables, Eye/Ear Drops etc. M/s Shree Rudra Foods, Ispur, Una for manufacturing of Aata, Maida and Basen, Suji etc.

Among the expansion proposals, the proposals of M/s Tirupati Medicare Ltd., Paonta Sahib, Sirmour for manufacturing of Tablet, Capsule, Liquid, Powder, Oil, Cream, Shampoo, M/s Godrej Consumer Product Ltd., Baddi, Solan for manufacturing of Personal and Hair Care products, M/s Rahul  Bakery, Parwanoo for manufacturing of Bakery Biscuits, Fruit Wine etc., M/s R M Cemicals Private Limited Unit-II, Jharmajri, Baddi for manufacturing of Detergent Powder, Toilet Soap, Liquid Shampoo etc., M/s Reckitt Benckiser Healthcare India Private Limited, Baddi, Solan for manufacturing of Dettol Liquid, Allopathic Tablet, Ointment, Liquid and Ayurvedic Cream Ointments etc., M/s Micro Turner Unit-VI, Nalagarh, Solan for manufacturing of Fastner, Axels, Studs, Nuts, Pinion, M/s Sobhagia Clothing Company, Baddi, Solan for manufacturing of Hosiery Goods, M/s Akom India Private Limited, Paonta Sahib, Sirmaur for manufacturing of Liquid injection, Power injection, Liquid Oral, M/s Munix India Private Limited, Nalagarh, Solan for manufacturing of Staplers, Staplers Remover, M/s Godrej Consumer Products Limited, Baddi for manufacturing of Toilet Soap, Hand Wash, M/s G C Fibres Limited, Nalagarh, Solan for manufacturing of Cotton Yarn were approved by the Authority.Director Industries Shri Rajesh Sharma conducted the proceedings of the meeting.Industries Minister Shri Bikram Singh, Chief Secretary  Shri Vineet Chawdhry, Additional Chief Secretaries Dr. Shrikant Baldi, Smt. Manisha Nanda and  Shri Tarun Kapoor, Principal Secretary Shri R.D. Dhiman, Secretary Shri Devesh Kumar and other senior officers also attended the meeting.
