Cong’s old timers join BJP

To connect the common man, the Bharatiya Janata Party’s Colony Cell organised a public meeting at sector 29, under the leadership of cell President, Anil Dubey. The occasion marked the special presence of Former Union Minister, Harmohan Dhawan, Former MP, Satya Pal Jain and Anupam Kher. Many old-timers of the Congress including Ramkaran Yadav, Hansa Yadav, Ramchander Yadav and other workers who had lost the faith in the party’s leadership joined the BJP.

Seeking support for his wife and BJP’s MP candidate, Kirron Kher, Anupam Kher said, “Kirron is a daughter of Chandigarh and she understands the problems of this city. Besides, the BJP has pro-development agenda for the nation. I appeal to all of you to vote for Kirron on April 10”.On this occasion, Satya Pal Jain and Harmohan Dhawan welcomed the new entrants into the party. The duo assured them that they would get equal respect in the party.

Dr Vikram Yadav, Meghraj Verma, Ramesh Yadav, R B N Shukla, Ashwini Verma, Jaswinder Singh, Naresh Arora, Harish Neta, Lalji Yadaav, Chander Dev Kavi, Reelu Yadav, Ramdulare, Manikant Yadav, Lal Bahadur Patel, Doodhnath, Dinanath Chauhan, Nagender Singh, Guatam and other party workers were present at the event.
