Legal Services Camp will be organized in the District S.A.S. Nagar

Under the able guidance of Honorable Mr. Justice T.P.S. Maan, Judge, Punjab & Haryana High Court, Executive Chairman, Punjab State  Legal Services Authority, a legal services camp will be organized in the District S.A.S. Nagar with the motive to bring maximum number of persons to the camp and get them registered under various beneficial schemes of government and to provide benefits to them on the spot. The cluster of villages shall be adopted for this camp from which the villagers of all age groups including child to an old aged person shall be given the relevant benefits. Various departments shall be associated with  this camp i.e. District Social Security Officer, Labour Department, District Education Officer, Health Department ,District Development and Panchayat Officer, Child Development and Protection Officer, Red cross, Agriculture Forest, Civil Surgeon etc. who will set up their stalls in the camp for providing benefits as well as creating awareness in the general public visiting the spot.

Today, meeting has been called by  Smt. Archana Puri, Ld. District & Session  Judge-cum- Chairman, District Legal Services Authority of various department which has been attended by Sh. Charandev Singh Maan,  ADC, SAS Nagar, Sh. Sandeep Hans, Commissioner, Municipal Coorporation, Dr. Jaspreet Kaur, Assistant Civil Surgeon Office, SAS Nagar, Sh. J.P. Singh, Assistant LabourCommisssioner, Sh. Jagjit Singh, SP City, Sh. Sharanjit Singh, DEO(S), Sh. N.S. Gill, Special  Judge, CBI, Sh.  Jaswinder Singh, Additional District & Session Judge, Sh. Rajnish Garg, Additional District & Sessions Judge,Sh. Amit Thind, Civil Judge, Senior Division, Sh. Jatinderpal Singh, Judge, CBI, Sh. MohitBAnsal, Chief Judicial Magistrate.In this preliminary meeting the various works to be done by each department has been specified for the purpose of carrying out this camp. The cluster of villages and the venue of the camp shall be identified shortly, thereafter, the team of Para Legal Volunteers and Panel Lawyers shall be constituted for going door to door in said cluster of villages for informing the villagers about Legal Services Camp and requesting them to participate in the said camp.
