MLA Ganderbal meets Governor

Ishfaq Ahmad Sheikh, MLA Ganderbal, called on Governor N.N. Vohra at the Raj Bhavan today.Sheikh briefed Governor about the major development projects sanctioned for district Ganderbal and the current status of each of them, particularly referring to delays in regard to the commencement of New Ganderbal HE Power Project, putting the new Unani College to use and shifting Central University Kashmir from Srinagar to Ganderbal.Appreciating Sh. Sheikh’s concerns, Governor urged him to continue his efforts for promoting a peaceful environment in the area of his influence, which would enable the rapid development and growth of the entire Kashmir region.
