Anupam Kher, Sanjay Tandon, Harmohan Dhawan, Satya Pal Jain seek support for Kirron Kher

With barely a week left for polling in Chandigarh, the Bharatiya Janata Party’s senior leaders have intensified their election campaign. Besides, Anupam Kher joined the campaigning today to ensure BJP’s victory. To reach among the masses BJP leaders are also canvassing in different directions and seeking the support for the party’s MP candidate, Kirron Kher. The BJP’s State President, Sanjay Tandon carried out a ‘Padyatra’ in Sector 56, in the morning and appealed to the people to vote for Kirron Kher.Later on, Sanjay Tandon and senior leader, Satya Pal Jain reached at sector 17 to discuss issues of UT employees related to the housing facilities. Speaking on the occasion, Satya Pal Jain said, “If the BJP comes to the power then all those who have been allotted houses, we promise them the construction would start soon.  The matter of the Category one houses is still subjudice and after coming to power we will try to settle the matter outside the court. The idea is to get a solution. I have raised the issue of increasing the number of floors and partition of big pieces of plots in the premier sectors of Chandigarh”.

Supporting Jain’s views, Sanjay Tandon said, “UT employees deserve to own houses and we will work towards solving the issue related to housing. I have been taking up the issue with the concerned authorities and also given memorandums. The mindset of the concerned officials is rotten. If we are voted to power then I assure you that all those who have been allotted house will get the ownership rights”.After this Sanjay Tandon along with Anupam Kher reached in the market of sector 46. The duo aggressively campaigned for Kirron Kher.Seeking support for his wife, Anupam Kher said, “Kirron Kher is capable of representing the city and has the vision for the development. My feedback is that she has been receiving overwhelming response in her campaigns. I am sure that she will win and will serve the city whole heartedly”. Along with Anupam Kher, Sanjay Tandon appealed to the people to come on April 10 to vote for Kirron Kher. After this, the an aggressive campaign was carried out in sector 15 where former union minister, Harmohan Dhawan also joined Sanjay Tandon and Anupam Kher.  While speaking on the occasion Sanjay Tandon said, “The BJP understand the value every vote. I appeal to all of you weigh the merits of all contenders before casting your valuable vote. If all of you are looking for the development in the city then vote for BJP”.
