DDC Doda hold Pre-DDB review meeting

To review physical and financial achievements of the financial year 2017-18 and to discuss proposed district plan for the financial year 2018-19 including new initiatives for upcoming District Development Board (DDB) meeting scheduled to be held on 15th of May, District Development Commissioner, Bhawani Rakwal convened a preliminary DDB meeting, here today.The meeting was attended by ADDC, Hanief Malik, ADC Pawan Kumar, ACR Tariq Hussain Naik, CPO Yoginder Katoch, Sub Divisional magistrates, Executive Engineers of PWD, PDD and PHE, besides other district and sectoral officers also attended the meeting.During the meeting, Deputy Commissioner was apprised of the physical and financial progress made by the departments in the previous financial year, new proposals as per guidelines issued in previous DDB meetings and initiatives to be taken up in the DDB meeting for discussion.DDC directed the officers to ensure timely submission of updated data related to various plans and schemes so that it can be reflected during proceedings of DDB meeting. He further asked them to submit entire plan with photographs of the structures and works to highlight major achievements of their respective sectors.Besides this, overall preparations and preparedness for smooth conduct of DDB meeting were also discussed threadbare with the officers.Later during the meeting, DDC reviewed the ATR of previous DDB meeting. He directed the concerned officers to expedite the pace of prioritised works and ensure its completion in a fixed time frame.
