GoC XV Corps briefs Governor N.N. Vohra

Lt. Genl. A.K. Bhatt, GOC XV Corps, met Governor N.N. Vohra at the Raj Bhavan here today and briefed him about the overall security scenario, along the frontiers and in the hinterland. Governor and Lt. Genl. Bhatt also reviewed the security arrangements for the Shri Amarnathji Yatra which commences on 28th June 2018. Governor observed that he would be holding the Yatra Security Review Meeting on 23 May 2018 in which the senior most echelons of the Civil, Police, Central Armed Police, Army and  State and Central Intelligence Agencies are represented. Meanwhile, Sh. Umang Narula, Principal Secretary to Governor and CEO of the Shrine Board would hold intensive coordination meetings with GoC Victor Force who is responsible for Op SHIVA.
