Kirron Kher dares Congress to compete on development agenda

Focusing on the rural community, the Bharatiya Janata Party’s MP candidate for Chandigarh Lok Sabha seat, Kirron Kher held her public rallies in villages including Kishangarh, Raipurkalan, Maulijagran and Darwa.The MP candidate also carried out colourful road shows in sector 27 and 28. She spent the afternoon at the district court of sector 43 and also gave a patient hearing to the problems of Chandigarh Beopar Mandal. The MP contender was supported by the BJP’s State President, Sanjay Tandon and senior leader, Satya Pal Jain in her poll campaigns at various places.

The road-show which was carried in sector 28 in the morning received an exceptional response which saw a major participation from the youth. Afterwards, Kirron Kher met with the members of ‘Patanjali Yog Samiti’ at the party office, Kamlam, sector 33.While addressing the gathering, Kirron Kher said, “The Congress party has been using the power of money to create a vote bank. In the past, we have seen the Congress leaders changing the political game towards the end by throwing money. I challenge the Congress party to compete on development agenda. And I see Kirron Kher in all of you and help me to upgrade the city”. Later on, she addressed the party workers under the leadership of the National General secretary (Organization) BJP, Ram Lal.           

The MP Contender held detailed discussions with lawyers of the District Court, Sector 43. She informed the gathering that BJP’s prime ministerial candidate, Narendra Modi was backing the housing scheme for advocates.

Besides, at the meeting of Chandigarh Beopar Mandal, MP candidates of all the parties presented their views. The meeting was held at hotel Shivalik View at sector 17 where Kirron Kher assured the traders their problems would be resolved on priority basis.Afterward, she reached to address the public meeting organized by Competent group, sector 34 which saw the participation of youngsters. Kirron appealed from the young crowd to take an informative decision while choosing the MP candidate for Chandigarh. On this occasion she was accompanied by the BJP’s State President, Sanjay Tandon who also addressed the gathering.    

While speaking on the occasion, Sanjay Tandon said, “Kirron Kher is my elder sister and I request to all of you to support her. The whole nation is suffering from the wrong policies of the scam-ridden UPA government. The scams done by the Congress party only indicates that the government behaves like a pre-paid sim card while dealing with the issues being faced by the common man. The time has come to root out the corrupt system to see development”.

Taking forward her campaign, Kirron Kher addressed the public rallies in the villages. She concluded her canvassing at a Dinner Meeting in Panjab University’s campus where she exchanged idea with intellectuals.
