To save Jammu, vote for BJP: Jugal

Asserting that the Congress has already conceded defeat at the national level even before contesting the Lok Sabha election, BJP candidate from Jammu-Poonch Parliamentary Constituency & State President Jugal Kishore Sharma today urged the people to vote for the BJP and said victory of the BJP will not only be a victory of the country but also a defeat of those in Kashmir who have been trying their level best to pide the society and impose their regressive ideology on the people of Jammu province. “To save Jammu, vote for BJP,” said Jugal Kishore Sharma, and added that the victory of the BJP in Jammu would mean its effective participation in the law making process in the parliament and empowerment of the people of this province. He underlined the importance of victory of the BJP while addressing a series of election meetings at New Bridge Akhnoor, Dardal, Sagani, Pargal, Tacharvan, Mehra Mandrian, Garkhatal, Kathar, Mayoor and Chowki Choura block in the Akhnoor assembly constituency.

Sharma told the gatherings that while the Congress has been driving the state away from the national mainstream by pursuing an appeasement policy towards Pakistan and Kashmiri separatists, the National Conference has been demanding withdrawal of all the central laws from the state and a regime that is outside the constitutional and political organization of India. “The problem in Kashmir is neither political nor economic. It is fundamentally problem of uncontested communalism. The Congress-led UPA government has been addressing this problem through incremental concessions, thus giving a dangerous legitimacy to the politics of separatism, based on religious fanaticism,” he said and added that the BJP not only believes in the principle of justice and equity and treats all sections of the society as part and parcel of the nation but stands for the unity and territorial integrity of India, democracy and genuine secular ethos. “The BJP doesn’t preach and practice fake secularism and fake nationalism like the Congress and similar other outfits,” he said, and added that the Congress-led UPA has destroyed the country’s polity, society and economy and lowered the prestige of the country in the eyes of the International community.  The defeat of the UPA is a must to protect and promote for the country’s geo-political and economic interests, he said adding that the people across the nation are fed-up with the existing dispensation that has made the life of the people miserable.

Referring to the problems faced by the people of the Akhnoor assembly constituency, Sharma said that the NC-Congress coalition government has utterly failed to meet the day to day civic needs of the people. He said that roads are in a shambles, health-care facilities almost non-existent and the schools and other educational institutions under staffed and ill-equipped. He blamed the Congress leadership including the Congress MP and Congress ministers responsible for the neglect of the area. He said if anything, the Congress has only perpetrated injustice after injustice on the people of Jammu to keep their masters in the valley in a good humor and corrupted the whole system.Sharma appealed to the people not to walk into the trap of the Congress which has unleashed campaign to create an impression that the NC-Congress government has done justice to the people of Jammu and the coalition consists of democrats. He expressed the hope that the people would vote for the BJP in large numbers and strengthen the hands of BJP’s Prime Ministerial Candidate Narendra Modi and contribute to his 272+ mission.Daljit Singh, Kuldeep banotra, Jugal Dogra, Suresh Magotra, Rajiv Sharma, Parshotam Baba, Surinder Singh, Puran Sharma, Vijay Kumar, Rajinder Sharma, Anil Kumar and Baldev Kumar accompanied by Sharma.
