District Development Commissioner, Rajinder Singh Tara attended Prime Minister’s live address on occasion of National Panchayati Raj Day on 24th April along with villagers at Panchayat Ghar Katli of Samba District where large number of people participated in this programme.Aijaz Qaiser, ACD Samba, Piyush Gandotra D.P.O, Imran Kataria D.I.O Samba, B.D.O and team of NITI AYOG also attended the programme.The programme is organized by the Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Department on the occasion of Gram Swaraj Abhiyan on National Panchayati Raj Day.  Gram Sabha was held at each Panchayat of Samba District in which large number of people participated & witnessed live address of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.Speaking on the occasion, ACD Samba congratulated the entire panchayat for joining the hygienic ODF club in a day or two and advised the locals to be aware of the benefits thereof.District Development Commissioner, S. Rajinder Singh Tara advised the people to work on the advice of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to inculcate the feeling of universal brotherhood among them. He also urged them to strengthen the institution of Gram Sabhas so that Panchayati Raj system can actually prosper in the state.
