731 cases disposed off during National Lok Adalat in Udhampur

National Lok Adalat, organized by District Legal Services Authority, held at District Court Complex Udhampur under the patronage of  acting Chief Justice Ramalingam Sudhakar, High Court of J&K (Patron-in-Chief J&K State Legal Services Authority) and able  chairmanship of Kiker Singh Parihar , Principal District and Sessions Judge Udhampur here today.During National Lok Adalat, Cases  related to bank matters, recovery suits, , traffic challans , Civil , Criminal compoundable  and matrimonial cases were taken up and were settled amicably through settlement. National Lok Adalat was held under the chairmanship of Principal District and Sessions judge, K.S. Parihar, wherein a total of 6 benches were constituted in the district. The first bench was comprised of Principal District & Sessions Judge Udhampur, K.S. Parihar and & Smt. Sandeep Kour,  Sub Judge Special Mobile Magistrate Udhampur   while the second bench  has Sh C.L. Bavoria Addl. 

District & Sessions Judge, Udhampur  and  Sh. Balbir Lal Jaswal CJM Udhampur.Beside it bench No.3 comprised of Distt. Mobile Magistrate Udhumpur Ajay Kumar and Munsiff JMIC Udhampur Junaid Imtiaz  Mir.  Bench No.  4  Sub-Judge Ramnagar Anjum  Ara and Bench No.5 Advoate R.K Jandial,  Addl. Special Mobile Magistrate Munsiff Majalta   Anjana Rajput and  bench No. 6 comprises of Munsiff  Chenani, Sumati Sharma . A total of 821 cases of different nature were taken up,       out of which 731 cases were settled on the spot.  An amount of Rs 54, 55,000 was realized in MACT cases while a total of 14 ,58, 592 Lakh was realized in various bank cases. Besides, fine amounting Rs 2,45,350 was realized in respect of various criminal compoundable cases. Beside litigants, bar members and prosecution officers participated in the Lok Adalat.
