Sukhbir Singh Badal, President Shiromani Akali Dal today gave a call to the voters for clean sweep victory of the party candidates on all the seats of Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee to ensure clean and transparent management. Mr. Badal said that he had felt the pulse of voters during election campaign and party was all set to register record margin victory on more than 40 seats.Addressing the massive gathering at Jaitpur in favour of Manjit Singh GK party president for Delhi unit and candidate from ward number 8, Mr. Sukhbir Singh Badal said that this election campaign was a unique experience for him as the Sikhs from Delhi were well aware about the misdeeds of Sarna duo and they have very little to add to their knowledge. He said that on the contrary people from Delhi met him and narrated many new stories of corruption and hooliganism done by Saranas during their 12 years long tenure.

Warning Congress party and Sarnas to give up their plans of booth capturing and rigging of votes, Mr. Badal said that beleaguered Sarnas and their coterie were working on the plans to use their ‘gunda power’ at the behest of the Congress party to save their complete decimation. He said that any such activity would not be tolerated by the Shiromani Akali Dal. Mr. Badal said that the Congress party has been involved in various such activities in the past, due to which the religious sentiments of the Sikhs have been hurt time and again. He said that Congress government in Delhi must ensure free and fair conduct of DSGMC elections as in case of any misdeed it would be testimony to the fact that the Congress has not learnt anything from the history and still meddling in the religious affairs of the Sikhs.

Describing DSGMC election as the last nail in Sarnas’ coffin, Mr. Badal said that Manjinder Singh Sirsa, party candidate from Punjabi Bagh ward number 25 would defeat Paramjit Singh Sarna with such a record margin that Sarna’s deposit would be forfeited. He said that during election campaign Sirsa besieged Sarna in such a way that even his own relatives left him alone for his anti Sri Akali Takhat Sahib attitude. He said that panth’s traitor Sarnas being close to Congress leaders had always conspired and acted against the 1984 Sikh victims, witnesses and their lawyers. He said that now Sarnas days were over and Sikhs from Delhi were going to witness an historic change by decimating Congress’ B-team in the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee elections.Earlier, Mr. Badal campaigned for Jasbbir Singh Jassi, party candidate from ward number 35 Civil Lines and addressed an impressive gathering there.
