Homeopathy should become a mass movement; Addresses World Homeopathy Day

The Vice President of India, Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu has said that Swatch Bharat Leads to Swasth Bharat and Samruddhi Bharat. He was addressing the gathering on the occasion of World Homeopathy Day, here today. The Minister of State for AYUSH (Independent Charge), Shri Shripad Yesso Naik and other dignitaries are also seen.The Vice President asked everyone concerned to take Homoeopathy to masses in the interior, remote places, where it is practically difficult to dispense medicines, owing to lack of logistics, or due to limited resources. He further said that Homoeopathy is one of the greatest discoveries of the 18th century and the mankind cannot thank Dr. Hahnemann, who created the system of alternative medicine called Homeopathy, enough for gifting it to us! Since Homoeopathy is cost-effective, easy to administer and has no side-effects, it provides an apt solution for many challenges we are facing in health due to paucity of resources today, he added.The Vice President said that scientific validation is a must, a checkpoint for everything adding that we need scientists and health researchers to give their thumbs up on the effectiveness of homeopathy. He further said that scientists from Physics, Chemistry, Biogenetics and Pharmacology have taken the onus of bringing out many little or yet unknown facts of Homoeopathy to the fore for everyone to see. Science is science, and it is nobody’s friend and nobody’s enemy and it only demands evidence, he added.The Vice President has asked Homoeopathy students, aspiring doctors to further spread reach of Homoeopathy by their work. It is a relatively novel science and it is used by over 80 countries in the world, he added.
