The more oppression Govt do, the more worse they face : G.M Monga

Senior Congress leader, G.M Monga while condemning the killing of civilian in South Kashmir said that the more oppression they do the more worse they have to face.He told PTK that Mehbooba has failed. He said where is she? He said that state and GoI should try to start the dialogue and solve the problem.Monga added that Kashmir was not as serious as being portrayed by the present government. “Situation in Kashmir is worse than 90’s”, he said.He said that same way the current situation is worse than 1990s. Monga further added that the Government only gives statement claiming normalcy has returned and ‘everything is alright’ which is far from reality. “Reality is that the situation is not getting normal and peace is nowhere in sight”, he said.Monga said all the promises made to the people by the PDP and the BJP after securing votes from them on sensitive issues, have fallen flat.This Government has failed on all fronts to control situation in valley. “Neither there is development, nor sense of security. This Government is only making false promises time and again and letting people suffer on all counts”, he added.

Monga said that there is a need to have a sustained dialogue with all stakeholders, Pakistan, Hurriyat with the people of Kashmir and then only there is possibility of peace. He said that "I have been reiterating that the situation in Jammu and Kashmir is its worst”. He added that people love militants which are the reason they always try to save than.  “Government can’t crash aspiration, emotions of the people for gun in Kashmir”, he said.When ask about the militancy Monga said that “they (Government” can’t crash it. He said that government should take to people why they are angry and they have to find out the way to solve people.He further added that it’s not the way that one side army take up gun and another side youth take gun that is the solution. He said that it’s growing day by day now. He added that to claim that situation is normal where normally in Kashmir Monga is said, its bloody Sunday yesterday in Kashmir and then government said that here is normally.He said that it has been more than three years now since talk with Pakistan will be initiated was assured by the government.
