To support the Bharatiya Janata Party’s MP candidate for Chandigarh Parliamentary seat, Kirron Kher, a colourful event was organized at Sector 32 D today. The senior leader of the party Satya Pal Jain was addressing the gathering here already before Kirron’s arrival. In his speech, Jain said that BJP’s prime ministerial candidate, Narendra Modi was focusing on bringing the corruption free system in the nation so that every corner of the country could witness the development. The local workers and office bearers of the party apprised Kirron with the achievements of their respective areas.
The BJP’s State President, Sanjay Tandon also joined the campaign and while addressing the crowd he said, “You have to choose your MP carefully on April 10. You have seen Kirron on the silver screen and on television but she has been brought up in Chandigarh. She has come here to seek your blessings and support. All of you are aware of the rail gate scam carried out by ‘Mama-Bhanja’(Pawan Kumar Bansal and his nephew). I want to ask the sitting Congress MP, Bansal who has been ruling in the city from the last 15 years what has he done for the city residents. The city could not get metro, the issue of Lal Dora could not be resolved and government employees are still fighting to get their houses. Despite holding the prominent positions at the cabinet ministry failed to address the issues related to the common man”.
On this occasion, Congress supporter and Market of Sector 32, President, Ashwini Khanna joined the BJP and confirmed his support to the MP candidate of the party. Kirron Kher welcomed him and assured him that he would respect equal respect in the party.While talking to the gathering, Kirron Kher said,“ I have come here earlier too to campaign for the senior deputy Mayor, Heera Negi. Wherever I go, I notice that the common man is suffering from the Congress misrule because the party could not ensure even the basic facilities like electricity, clean water and security. I have failed to understand why people have been voting for him when he has failed on every front. I appeal to everyone to take an informed decision while casting your valuable vote”.
While giving an example of Gujarat’s development model, she also said that Narendra Modi carries the vision for the betterment of the nation. She asked people for their support so that she could bring visible change in Chandigarh under the visionary leadership of Modi.
