MLA Dooru distributes cheques worth Rs 30 lakh

The Member of Legislative Assembly, Dooru Syed Farooq Ahmad Andrabi today distributed cheques worth Rs 30 lakh among 225 beneficiaries under Swachh Bharat Mission.The function was organized by the Rural Development Department, Verinag.On the occasion, the MLA interacted with various deputations and said that the pace of development shall be redoubled incoming financial year. Various deputations met the MLA who apprised him about the matters related to their respective areas. The MLA gave a patient listening and promised timely action for redressal of their genuine issues.The MLA also appreciated the role of the RDD in bringing prosperity in far-flung areas of the district and expected them to keep up the spirit and zeal in ensuring the economic development of the people.The function was attended by SDM Dooru, ACD, BDO Verinag, Tehsildar Verinag and other officers of Dooru Subdivisions.
