‘Govt will clear liabilities at an earliest’

A delegation of representatives of Jammu and Kashmir Contractors Coordination Committee and Hotmix Plant owners called on Minister for Finance,  Education and Labour Employment, Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari here today to apprise him about various issues faced by the contractors.The  delegation headed by Chairman JKCCC, Ghulam Jeelani Purza and president Hotmix plant owners; Abdul Rashid Dar appraised the Minister about  various issues including the clearing of pending payment bills of various projects.After giving the patient hearing, the Minister assured the delegation  that Government will clear all the liabilities at an earliest. He said that payment for the NABARD projects in the state will also be cleared soon.“Money is  not a problem for this government. I assure you that payments will be released on time,” he said.On the occasion, the delegation also congratulated  Bukhari for getting Finance portfolio.
