In review meeting of HRTC, Transport Minister  Gobind Thakur said the revenue of corporation has shown a jump of Rs. 10 crore from January till date and added that the government has set a target of Rs. 100 crore as profit in the kitty of HRTC during next one year. The target will be achieved with better coordination amongst various wings of HRTC in the state.Transport Minister asked the officers to induct latest information & technology, GPS, Wi-Fi facility modules in services of HRTC for providing best public transport services to the people of the state.Shri Gobind Thakur said that transport towns would be set up in all four Parliamentary Constituencies of the state, in order to strengthen HRTC besides providing better public transport services to the people.He released Rs. one crore for construction of bus stand at Thunag in Mandi district, besides Rs.3.75 lakh for infrastructure of electric bus charging station at Mandi which would cost Rs. 14 lakh.
