Generic Pharmacy serving patients '24x7' in IGMC : Vipin Singh Parmar

Health Minister Vipin Singh Parmar said here today that free Generic Pharmacy started functioning in IGMC Shimla since 27th Nov 2015 has served nearly three lakh patients by providing free of costs medicines for various diseases.He said that in order to provide facilities to the patients, State Government has taken a decision to make available free of cost generic medicines that were notified by the State Government to all outdoor and indoor patients 24x7 every day w.e.f. 22nd February, 2018.Shri Parmar said that various new initiatives were being taken to provide better health care facilities to the people of the State. He said State Government intends to ensure deployment of Doctors and Para Medical Staff besides providing infrastructural facilities in each health institution in the State.
