Congress campaigning committee including Senior Congress Leader and MLA Inderwal, Ghulam Mohammad Saroori, MLA Bhaderwah Mohammad Sharief Niaz, MLC Naresh Gupta, Advocate and congress leader from Bhaderwah Mohammad Aslam Goni and Senior Congress Leader from Doda Sheikh Mujeeb today reaches Bhallessa (Azad home town) and addressed two well attended public gatherings at Jakyas and Chilli and appealed the people to vote for Ghulam Nabi Azad from Udhampur-Kathua Parliamentary constituency.

While addressing the mammoth gatherings Senior Congress Leader and MLA Inderwal Ghulam Mohammad Saroori said Congress is committed to overall development of all the three regions of the state especially hilly, backward, remote and border areas. He appealed people to work for strengthening the party in the best interest of the people of the state.He urged the people to remain vigilant against the machinations of the parties like BJP and PDP, the main agenda of which is to polarise the situation and benefit from pision in the society. He said their main plank during the ensuing elections will be to pide the masses. He appealed the people to remain united and frustrate their designs while maintaining age old tradition of mutual brotherhood and communal harmony.“Your vote in favour of the Ghulam Nabi Azad will be the vote for progress and prosperity of Jammu & Kashmir” Saroori claimed. In his address MLA Bhaderwah Mohammad Sharief Niaz lambasted the PDP and BJP for exploiting the sentiments of innocent and peace loving people of the state for their petty political gains.

He urged people to strengthen hands of All India Congress Committee (AICC) chief Sonia Gandhi by sending Ghulam Nabi Azad to Parliament and defeat communal forces.Other who spokes on the occasions were MLC Naresh Gupta, Advocate Aslam Goni, Sheikh Mujeeb appealed to the people to vote in favour of Ghulam Nabi Azad, Congress candidate from Udhampur-Kathua Parliamentary constituency.The prominent among those who were present were Congress block president Chilli Pingal Shahdab Din Naik, Musarat Naik, Firoz Din Malik, Liyakat Ali Sheikh, Irshad Ahmed Wani, Yoonas Malik, Mushtaq Malik, Parveez Butt, Shabir Butt, Chowdhary Hasham, Muneer Sheikh, Firdous Khandey, Hardeep Singh Manhas, Chowdhary Ali Mohd, Umer Din Naik and people in large attended the rallies.
