Syed Basharat Bukhari reviews developmental scenario of Sangrama constituency

Minister for Horticulture, Syed Basharat Bukhari today chaired a meeting here to review the pace and position of various ongoing development activities in Sangrama constituency.The meeting was attended by ACRORE Bashir Ahmad Bhat, ASP Shafqat Hussain, CHO Baramulla Saif-ud-Din, CMO Dr Bashir Ahmad Chalkoo, Exens of various line departments, AD planning, Tehsildar and various district and sectoral officers.On the occasion, the Minister took a comprehensive review of various development projects being undertaken by different departments in the constituency. He impressed upon the horticulture department to adopt modern and scientific methods besides educating the farmers about its benefits. He stressed upon facilitating adequate and qualitative saplings for the upcoming farming season adding that the sector forms the backbone of our economy.Bukhari directed the Health Department to ensure better medicare facilities in health centres so that the people may not face any inconvenience. He also directed the concerned to ensure availability of doctors and required human resource at all the Health Centers of the constituency.He also took a thorough review of developmental works in other sectors including PHE, PDD, R&B and in other vital sectors wherein he stressed for working with added zeal and enthusiasm so that all the undertaken projects are completed within stipulated time frame.Meanwhile, he also directed the concerned for ensuring the availability of essentials, especially during the winter season.
