6.3MVA Potha Receiving Station being upgraded shortly : Dr. Nirmal Singh

Deputy Chief Minister Dr Nirmal Singh today said that 6.3MVA Potha Receiving Station in Surankote has been approved for up-gradation and the work on the project shall be started soon.While responding to a calling attention notice by Choudhary Mohammad Akram, the Minister said that augmentation of the 6.3 MVA, 33/11 KV, Receiving Station, Potha from 6.3 MVA to 2x6.3 MVA stands already covered in the Centrally Sponsored Scheme-IPDS and will be augmented shortly. He said the receiving station is being upgraded after the legislator desired to augment it station by way of installation of additional 3.15 MVA X-mer spared from Lassana Receiving station.He said the spared 3.15 MVA transformer has been shifted to Receiving Station Potha at Surankote and Department is in the process of charging the transformer.
