Gangbugh-Narkara-Budgam road macadamized : Sunil Sharma

Minister of State for Public Works Sunil Kumar Sharma today said that the 2 KM road stretch from Gangbugh to Narakara has been macadamized during the current financial year.The Minister was responding to a calling attention notice moved by legislator Aga Syed Ruhullah Mehdi in this regard.Minister said the 5 KM road stretch from Narkara to Budgam via Ompora has also been black topped and is in good condition.He informed the house that the road stretch from Hyderpora to Gangbugh shall be taken up after completion of the drainage works by the Srinagar Municipal Corporation subject to the availability of funds. He further stated that the 10 KM Hyderpora to Budgam via Narkara road is not approved under any programme.
